Having celebrated my retirement with my friend Linda and my sister and brother-in-law, The preparations for the adventure can go ahead. Mind you I have a drive to the Balkans beginning next week, so there will be a gap before I can make any serious moves.
However, I have bought a trekking tent, sleeping bag, mosquito net and sleeping mat, so I know that I will be going! The point of no return has arrived.
Apparently it was 46 degrees in my village earlier this week, so I am hoping that it will be warmer than the UK when I get there
Hi Miss!!
We will always think of you when we walk past your sandal shop in Brighton or when we have bread and salami.
Just thought we'd leave a comment to say hi before we return to school as when we find out who our new teacher is you may not hear from us again. Thanks for a great year, we will never forget the lovely bread you made us and all the "educational" dvds we watched. Your stories used to be the highlight of the lesson and we always tried our best to keep you talking as long as possible - although you may not have been aware of that!
We hope you have a fantastic time travelling and make sure you keep us updated on your whereabouts. Hope to see you next year when you return with even more exciting stories to tell us.
Take care, Chloe and Charlotte
