Not having had the time to log in for a few days, I thought I had better make up for lost time!

After Cologne we went to Bamberg, somewhere I had not been to before. The camp site was great, and we cooked the food. I have to say that when we do the cooking we always eat well!

We walked around the town in the evening and tried soem famous smoked beer. Diferent, and something one might only do once, but it was worth the experience.

Onward to Prague. We arrived in the pouring rain, but the weather is the only thing that cannot be predicted. the camp site had a bar so we chatted for a while in the warm.

Next morning in to Prague. The town was swarming with tourists. It seemed to be full of jewellerz shops, souvenir shops, and cafes. We watched an important Hurling match in an Irish pub in the afternoon. The next day I took a tram ride round the back of the castle hill and found a Norbertine Monasterz, but the church was locked... are tourists really so bad... probably they are.

On to Budapest. The camp site was at the terminal of a tramline. The ticket office and waiting room had been converted into a restaurant/office. The pitches for the tents were on individual terraces. It looked good. We had gulash soup for the meal in the evening, cooked by the restaurant. It was, of course, raining!

When we got back from our wet site seeing walk the following evening, there was a chap in the bar/restaurant teaching a lady of the night the various expressions that she might need... I dont mind zour body, mind zour head, amongst others. May be there is a market for a multilingual phrase book for such ladies!

Yesterday we drove from Budapest to where we are now... as you can tell I don't know thw name of the town, but I do know that it is dracula's castle... I am not going there until I have written this and sent some postcards... so I may not even go there at all.

We stayed in a hotel last night and will be there tonight too. The rain had caused most people to need somewhere dry for a couple of nights,. It was a decision made by Pete and Tim, because there is no point in us getting fed up with the camping at this point because there will be areas when we can only camp.
